Die Thermal Control (not available in all regions)
An innovative technology designed by INPROTEC IRT for monitoring mold surface temperatures, the Die Thermal Control (DTC) thermographic system brings consistent quality and optimization of your die casting process. The surface temperature of the mold is a dynamic process parameter that must be kept within an optimal and uniform range during each casting cycle, because this affects not only the castings produced, but also the life of the mold. The system can be monitored on the production floor or remotely helping to simplify the comparison of thermal performance across different production runs. It also enhances die thermal regulation systems and release agent application management to support extended die life along with reduced scrap, cycle-time, and wastewater.
The DTC thermographic system consists of a trolley on wheels (also in Fix or Remote versions) and two radiometric thermal imagers integrated in special air-cooled housings. The IR camera acquires real-time thermal images of the molds, providing real time information for process optimization. The DTC thermographic system integrates all electrical and pneumatic equipment for controlling the thermal imagers and protective housings.
