Chemlease Japan KK becomes Chem-Trend Japan KK

Chem-Trend, a global leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of high-performance release agents, purging compounds and other ancillary molding products, announced the transition of Chemlease Japan K.K. to Chem-Trend Japan K.K. As part of a planned, long-term evolution, Chemlease Japan becomes Chem-Trend Japan with the same location and team that has been servicing customers across Japan for many years.

Chem-Trend Japan will continue to support Chemlease Japan’s original focus markets of composites and rubber molding and tire manufacturing – but will expand in the future to also support the needs of the high-pressure die casting, polyurethane molding and thermoplastics processing markets.

“Chem-Trend is proud to have been active in the Japan market since 1969. This evolution of our long-standing relationship with Chemlease Japan into Chem-Trend Japan strengthens our commitment to addressing the needs of the local market, as well as those of Japanese-headquartered companies located around the world. It is another step in our continuing journey to provide exemplary products and service to our customers,” said President and CEO Devanir Moraes, Chem-Trend.

Chem-Trend provides end users across various markets with release systems and complementary molding process aids that create enhanced value, efficiency and productivity.

“We are pleased that Chem-Trend has made this commitment to the market and our customers can look forward to continuing to receive the same level of excellent service and quality products that have made a difference to their businesses today. This evolution will also allow our customers to benefit from the full global resources of this industry leader,” said Yasumasa Kato, representative director of Chem-Trend Japan.
