Chem-Trend Named a Top Workplace for Seventh Straight Year
Chem-Trend, a world market leader in developing and manufacturing high-performance release agents, purging compounds, and other process chemical specialties, was recognized by the Detroit Free Press as one of Michigan’s Top Workplaces for 2018. This marks the seventh year in a row that Chem-Trend has received the accolade.
Top Workplaces are determined by employee nominations and results from an anonymous employee feedback survey, which is administered and scored by Energage, the Free Press’s research partner for the project. Employees responded to questions about their overall satisfaction, culture, pay and benefits, leadership, training and advancement opportunities, flexibility, and amenities.
“Earning this recognition for seven years in a row is a testament to the incredible team we have built at Chem-Trend in Michigan, and it extends around the globe. Our top-notch team is not only dedicated to providing the very best for our customers, but to one another,” said John Lundin, Chem-Trend Vice President and General Manager – North America. “We truly value and nurture a connected work culture that helps individuals grow, collaborate, and put their passion into their daily work.”
Chem-Trend is part of the Freudenberg Chemical Specialties (FCS) group and offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees. Among many benefits, the company supports employee health and wellness with daily walking breaks, encourages employees to volunteer during and outside business hours, and offers an all-expenses-paid exchange program for children of employees. Chem-Trend is also known for its ongoing community support, sponsoring local non-profit organizations and volunteering for community-based events.
