Chem-Trend Named a Top Workplace for Eighth Straight Year
Chem-Trend, a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-performance release agents, purging compounds, and other process chemical specialties, was recognized by the Detroit Free Press as one of Michigan’s Top Workplaces for 2019. This marks the eighth year in a row that Chem-Trend has received the accolade.
Top Workplaces are determined by employee nominations and results from an anonymous employee feedback survey, which is administered and scored by Energage, the Free Press’s research partner for the project. Employees responded to questions about their overall satisfaction, culture, pay and benefits, leadership, training and advancement opportunities, flexibility, and amenities.
“At Chem-Trend we are proud to serve our customers and one another. Our team, here and around the globe, is driven by a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and excellence,” said Subramanian Hariharan, Chem-Trend vice president and general manager – North America. “Our team adds tremendous value to every area of our business; earning this recognition for an eighth consecutive year is a testament to them.”
Chem-Trend is part of the Freudenberg Chemical Specialities (FCS) group and offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees. Among many benefits, the company supports employee health and wellness with daily walking breaks, encourages employees to volunteer during and outside business hours, and offers an all-expenses-paid international exchange program for children of employees. Chem-Trend is also known for its ongoing community support, sponsoring local non-profit organizations and volunteering for community-based events.
